FLAGSTAFF CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND PEPSI ANNOUNCE 4TH OF JULY PARADE GRAND MARSHALLS
FLAGSTAFF, AZ – The Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce and Pepsi announce the 16th Annual 4th of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4 at 9 am on the streets of historic downtown Flagstaff.
Together they are proud to announce a celebration of the Navajo Code Talkers George Willie and Sydnie Bedonie as Grand Marshalls. “We honor the Code Talkers for their service to our Country and the great pride they have brought to our Nation,” stated Julie Pastrick, President and CEO.
The Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade has been declared “an Arizona Treasure” by former Governor Janet Napolitano, and is a local holiday tradition, drawing thousands to Flagstaff each year. This parade will include hundreds of patriotic citizens, floats, vintage vehicles, clowns, animals, marching bands, dancing and much more.
Applications are now being accepted and are available online at www.flagstaffchamber.com. Entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis. There is a $50 entry fee per application.
