12/12/12

We just can't escape writing a bit about 12/12/12

The last repeating date of the century.
A 1,446% increase in marriages over 12/12/11
Reportedly a good day for making investments
12 hours of the day and night
12 months in the year (roman calendar)
12 signs of the zodiac
12 Apostles
12 Days of Christmas (unless you're in the TV business, then it's 25)
12 Tribes of Israel
12 Gods of Olympus
12 Old Testament Prophets

Additionally, 12 is divisible by halves, thirds, fourths, sixths and twelfths.

It is also being heralded as National Sound Check Day
(haha)

Also (and perhaps more importantly) the "One Day On Earth" project is filming again, following moderate success on the two previous repeating dates and a feature-length film "Life in a Day" which you can find on Netflix.

Also - it is a really easy date to remember.
