Length of time you’ve been in business: 15 months
Why did you get into your industry? What is your
goal/mission?
Heidi and I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. When
we were back in WI visiting family, we saw one of these “bar bikes,” driving
down the street in Milwaukee, with all it’s riders having a great time. We both
immediately saw the potential for Flagstaff and the great fit this would be in
our downtown.
Mission : To provide a safe, fun and profitable interactive tour of
Flagstaff using a human powered 14 passenger “trolley-bike”
Your specialty – the reason people choose you: We are one of
a kind
Your favorite part about doing business in Flagstaff: The
people we meet both as riders and owners of other business in Flagstaff. We
love Flagstaff, and seeing the Pedaler bring thousands of dollars to the local
restaurants and bars gives us a great sense of community.
Who is your favorite local non-profit or charitable
organization? Why?
Flagstaff Shelter Services. Both Heidi and I are in professions
where we see first hand the need for services for the homeless here in
Flagstaff. FSS is a well-run and dynamic organization working to fill those
needs.
Do you have any special events coming up? What are they?
Beer week at Mother Road Brewery where the Alpine Pedaler Ale will be available
and there will be free Pedaler rides. Feb 19th 6pm
Are you hiring? We do anticipate hiring addition drivers
starting in March 2013
