Chamber Advocacy Day at the Legislature



Mark your calendar and plan on joining Chamber President/CEO Julie Pastrick, Government Affairs Director, Mike Sistak, and Membership Director, Kat Ross at Chamber Day at the Legislature next Tuesday, March 5, at the Arizona Capitol, 1700 W. Washington, Phoenix, Arizona.  

Join with business leaders from throughout the state to learn about the issues and voice your opinion.  Our entire District State Delegation, Senator Chester Crandell, Representative Brenda Barton and Representative Bob Thorpe will be joining us for lunch on the Senate Lawn.  You’ll have the pleasure of hearing from speakers including Sandra Watson, President/CEO, Arizona Commerce Authority, Scott Smith, Governor Brewer’s Chief of Staff, Doug Ducey, Arizona State Treasurer, John Huppenthal, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Andy Biggs, Senate President, and Andy Tobin, Speaker of the House.  Governor Jan Brewer will deliver a luncheon address to our statewide group of local Chambers of Commerce and their membership.
 
There is a $50 registration fee for Tuesday.  There is also a dinner opportunity on Monday evening, March 4 with our entire district delegation.  Please let us know if you would like to attend.  We will schedule dinner depending on the number of responses. Tuesday’s meetings begin at 9:00a.m. and go through 1:30p.m.
